This piece was commissioned to perform at the Zarata Festival in its Madrid edition. Zarata means noise in Basque, and this festival took place in the Quinta del Sordo, a cultural association located in the historic centre of Madrid. The starting material is the pre-recorded sound of a single sound from the following instruments: a viola, a trumpet and a flute.

As mentioned above, the composition of this piece is based on three sounds taken from three instruments of the classical orchestra. 
Different transformations have been made to these sound objects. Resulting in a total of 64 new sound objects.

PLUS3 is a process of disintegration of the harmonic. It is structured in three parts: a first part of transformation of the internal partials of each sound. In the second part these sounds become “drones”. Until we get to the last part where everything’s a mess of noise.
